My name is Sara Hoenshell. This is my 21st year in public education. Before coming to KCIA I was a first grade teacher, fifth grade teacher, instructional coach and curriculum coordinator in the Kansas City Missouri school district. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Missouri Southern State University and a masters degree in Educational Administration from Park University. I have been married for 22 years to my high school sweetheart and we have two children and one wild puppy! In my free time I enjoy taking my puppy to the dog park, visiting my daughter in college and watching my son play football and wrestle. I am looking forward to a wonderful year at KCIA.
