My name is Gianna Buffano and this is my second year in Education as a Kindergarten teacher at KCIA! I graduated in May 2022 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During my time at OSU I was involved in the Arts Honors and Scholars Society and the Ohio State School Tour Group where I was able to build my love for education through teaching dance classes all around Columbus. I am currently apart of the Teach for America 2022 Corps and am working towards my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education at UMSL. When I am not teaching, I enjoy dancing, exploring Kansas City with my dog Shiner, and spending time with friends and family! I am thrilled to be back at KCIA for the 2023-2024 school year with such an amazing staff and community. I can’t wait to build relationships with my students and grow my skills as a teacher! I am eager to see what amazing things this school year holds!
