My name is Rida Mehmood, and this is my 3rd year at KCIA teaching second grade. I have grown up in Kansas City and attended the University of Missouri Kansas City where I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I am currently getting my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teaching English as a Second Language. Outside of school I like to bake, read books, go on walks, spend time with my family, and try out new coffee shops. I can’t wait to have another amazing year at KCIA and create new relationships!
