My name is Joycelyn Strickland-Egans. I earned a Master’s Degree in Multi-Cultural Education from Kansas State University; and a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Emporia State University. I have served as an educator for over 35 years, as a classroom teacher and an Instructional Coach. I am a published author of faith-based books, which fuels my passion for reading, writing and the love of language. I also love dance, volleyball, basketball, book clubs and laughing. You’ll find me spending time with family, at church activities and playing board games. I am honored to serve and support KCIA because it’s a center of learning where diversity thrives and students are educated- mind and spirit.
