Greetings! My name is Diya Carr. Born and raised here in KC! This is my 1st year teaching at KCIA! I spent the last 10 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade! However, this is my 16th year in education. Prior to teaching I was an interventionist for students who have autism! I benefitted tremendously from that time. For undergrad I attended the University of Central Missouri. I received my master’s degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University. It’s just me! In my free time I enjoy the gym, reading, sports, shooting pool, and time with family!
