My name is Hannah Griffith and this is my sixth year teaching 2nd grade! I received a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While I studied at UMKC, I was a part of the Institute of Urban Education which focuses on the social justice aspect of education. I earned my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification through Missouri Western State University and received a Master’s of Applied Science and Assessment with a concentration on TESOL. I am passionate about providing all students with an equitable educational experience and fostering a safe, welcoming, and loving environment. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy traveling, hiking, yoga, and paddle boarding. Spending time with friends, family, and my dogs (George, Henry, and Louie) are also very important to me! I am excited for another awesome year at KCIA!
