Hello! I’m Rachel Edwards, and this is my 5th year teaching. Previously, I was a teacher’s assistant for 4 years working primarily with students who were new to the USA. My experience as a teacher’s assistant and working with those incredible Newcomers inspired me to finish my Elementary Education degree through MidAmerica Nazarene University. This year I will also complete my Masters degree in K-12 TESOL. This is my third year with KCIA. I love it here and am so proud to be a part of this community. I’m looking forward to seeing incredible growth amongst all the students in our School Family!
