Girls basketball season showcased sixteen of our current 7th and 8th-grade student-athletes under the guidance of Coach Killeen and Coach McCay. These girls endured seven weeks of practice learning fundamental basketball skills, proper offensive and defensive techniques, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Lady Phoenix put what they learned to the test during weekly scrimmages and one final game. The team worked extremely hard, hustled, and was the first competitive KCIA team to score points in a Missouri State High School Activities Association sanctioned game. Congratulations to the team and coaches on a great season.
