Hello. My name is Susan Bosse and I am one of the Middle School resource teachers in the Special Education Department. I am excited to be teaching two sections of Math Calculations this year. I began my teaching career in Grade 5 at an international school in Zambia. I taught three years before moving back to Missouri. I started at KCIA as a building sub in the spring of 2021 and was hired in the Special Education department in December 2021. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University and was an accountant/CPA for a number of years. While living in Zambia, I went back to school to earn my Masters of Education in Elementary from George Mason University in Virginia. I have also become certified in Middle School Math, Middle School ELA and Mild/Moderate Cross Categorical Special Education. I have two sons aged 22 and 20, two dogs and two cats. In my spare time, I make my own homemade soaps and bath products, as well as paint and write. I’ve also joined a Dragon Boat team. I look forward to another year working at KCIA!
