My name is Bailey Conard and this is my second year as an 8th grade ELA teacher with KCIA. I earned Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and English at Mizzou in 2018 and earned my Master’s in Education from UMKC this past spring! I decided to join the field of education after serving with City Year here in Kansas City at Central Middle School and then joining the Kansas City Teacher Residency program. Outside of school I enjoy reading (add me on Goodreads), thrifting, and spending time with my lovely friends and family.
