My name is Bailey Conard and this is my third year as an 8th grade ELA teacher with KCIA. I earned Bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and English at Mizzou in 2018 and earned my Master’s in Education from UMKC in the Spring of 2022! I decided to join the field of education after serving with City Year here in Kansas City at Central Middle School and then joining the Educator Academy. Outside of school I enjoy reading (add me on Goodreads), thrifting, and spending time with my lovely friends and family. My partner, Heath, and I will be welcoming a baby boy (our first!!!) in September!
