My name is Emily Keehn, and this is my third year in education. I was raised in Shawnee, Kansas and have spent my adult life in Kansas City. I attended the University of Missouri – Kansas City where I was involved in the Institute for Urban Education. I began my teaching career at KCIA and have loved our school community. I began my teaching career in Kindergarten before making the switch to 3rd grade. At KCIA I am involved in the running clubs and love to share my passion for running with our students. When I am not at school I love to spend time with my family, pets, friends, and spend time outdoors.
