My name is Julie Horn and I am beginning my 37th year in education. Most of my career was spent teaching in Jefferson City, Missouri where I retired in May of 2016. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Drury University and received a Master’s of Education Degree from St. Mary’s University. My husband and I have two children. We have a 29 year old daughter, a 25 year old son and a one year old grand daughter that just lights up our lives! In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and bike riding. Educating children has not only been my passion, but a way of life for me. I’m very proud to be a part of KCIA!
