My name is Baleigh Jordan and the 2025-2026 school year marks my fourth year teaching at KCIA! I received my BAs in History, Gender Studies, and English from Saint Louis University in 2019, and my MA in Teaching from UMKC in 2024. In my free time, I love to read, try new recipes, play video games, learn new languages, and hang out with my two cats: Cheeto and Frito. I was born here in KCMO and most of my family lives here, so I love that moving back to the city means I get to spend more time with them. This year, I’m looking forward to getting to know our new batch of 8th graders — What an adventure!
