My name in Erin Opara and I am a middle school instructional coach/literacy curriculum specialist at Kansas City International Academy working with English Language Arts, History, Reading, and Health teachers. This is my fourth year working at Kansas City International Academy, and I am so excited to continue to work with our students, families, and staff! I have previously served as a middle school teacher, elementary teacher, instructional coach and vice principal! I earned a Bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, Master’s of Education degree for UMSL, Education Specialist degree from UMKC and my Doctor of Education degree from UMKC. I like learning! My husband and I just welcomed the arrival of our first child in December 2022.
