My name is Mrs. Michaels and I have a Bachelor’s of Art in photography and a minor in art history, a Masters of Arts in Teaching, and a Masters of Applied Sciences in TESOL. I have been teaching for 13 years and got my start teaching kindergarten in the Chicago Public School System, but before teaching kindergarten, I taught preschool for 4 years. I am excited to work with my new students and their families this year and grow as an educator! When I’m not at work, I love spending time with my family, my husband, and our four dogs and five cats! I also LOVE reading (my husband built me my own library for my last birthday), crocheting, cooking, and catching up on all my favorite shows and podcasts.
