I’m Rachelle Hamrick, and I bring 32 years of diverse experience in education to my role as Curriculum Coordinator at KCIA. My journey began at Mizzou, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Special Education. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students across all grade levels, from PreK through 12th grade. My career has also included roles as an instructional coach and principal, and I hold master’s degrees in both Curriculum and Instruction and School Administration. Now in my first year at KCIA, I’m excited to collaborate with a dedicated team of educators, students, and families. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 18-year-old son, Aiden, and our two beloved dogs, Bernadette and Shadow. I’m an avid reader, love exploring new restaurants around Kansas City, and find joy in walking my dogs. I’m looking forward to the new experiences and opportunities that lie ahead at KCIA and am eager to contribute to our vibrant school community.
