My name is Camryn Figueroa (Brown) and this is my third year teaching. I grew up in Kearney, Missouri and now live in Independence. I graduated with a bachelors in Music Education with a Vocal Emphasis from University of Missouri-Kansas City. I just received a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership from Northwest University. This is my first year at KCIA and I am very excited for this new experience in my career. I have a passion for teaching and always looking to learn something new. I am currently continuing to learn Spanish as a second language to better communicate with my in-laws. In my free time, I love to read, watch movies, and hang out with my friends and family. I will be getting married to my long-time partner, David in May.
