Ronnie Gray – ELA Teacher

My name is Ronnie Gray and this is my eleventh year in education. I have been at KCIA for the last ten years, after spending my first year of teaching in Fort Osage. I started as a 1st grade teacher, moved up to 2nd grade for 3 years and have spend the last 6 years in middle school teaching English Language Arts. I am so excited this year to be focusing only on teaching writing and helping our middle schooler’s prepare for high school! I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with my Bachelors in Education and am currently working at UCM toward my Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language. I am married and have three beautiful children, Elijah (9), Hartlynn (8) and Calina (2). While I spend most of my time taking care of my family, I also enjoy reading, going to the movies, photography, music, and traveling (thankfully my family enjoys all these too and we love to take family trips as often as we can! I love being part of the KCIA family and am so thankful to be here working with these kids everyday!
