My name is Steven McDowell and I am a 6th Grade Math Teacher. I graduated from Grinnell College in 2021 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Economics. Throughout college, I had a strong focus on applied statistics. As a recent graduate, this will be my first year teaching. During these first 2 years of teaching, I will also be working towards my Masters of Education through UMSL. I am from Kansas City and have lived here most my life with the exception of my college years. I love running, soccer, reading, and exploring the outdoors. I also love to spend the bulk of my time with friends, family, and housemates (who are also teachers)! I’m so excited to meet all the students this year and have fun in math this year!
