Marde Mason – Transitional Kindergarten

My name is Marde Mason and this year will be my 31st year in teaching. I began my teaching at KCIA in the 2019-20 school year. Previous to teaching at KCIA, I taught my first 14 years in Raytown, MO and then 15 years in Liberty, MO. I graduated from William Jewell College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Webster University. I have been married to my husband, Kelly, for 31 years and we have two daughters and two sons. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. Spending time and traveling with my extended family is also important to me. I am excited to introduce our youngest students to the KCIA school family and give them a positive start on their academic path. Can’t wait to start this new chapter in Kindergarten!
