My name is Linda Guthier and I am a Kansas City native. I received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Speech Pathology K-12 and a Master’s Degree in Learning Disabilities K-12 from Central Missouri State University. Special Education has always been my passion and this is my forty-seventh year in education. The bulk of my career was spent in the Hickman Mills School District, working thirty-two years as a speech pathologist, special education teacher, process coordinator, and assistant director of special education. After retiring from Hickman Mills, I spent several years working part time in Liberty School District and Pathway Academy Charter School as a Special Education Coordinator. This is my third year at Kansas City International Academy and I continue to enjoy assisting families with special education services. During my leisure time I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and photography.
