My name is Kaylin Griffin, and I will be teaching second grade at Kansas City International Academy. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish and a minor in Communications from the University of Arkansas in 2018. I began my career in education 2 years ago teaching third grade in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Throughout my first two years of teaching, I was in a program called Teach for America. Through that program, I earned my certification to teach Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. Over the summer, I relocated to Kansas City through an educational leadership program called the Green Fellowship. I am also currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Counselor Education through Adams State University. I am so excited to be a teacher during this time! I cannot wait to see how we mold the future of education this year! In my free time, my husband, Alex, and I love to go on walks with our Goldendoodle, drink coffee, explore, and connect with family and friends!
