My name is Haely Garrison, I am new this year to KCIA! I began my journey into education in 2019 and worked as a substitute teacher. I realized how passionate I was about education and decided to further my education, and go back to school for Masters in Elementary Education K-6. I received my Bachelors in Graphic Design in 2016 from Pittsburg State. Then, In 2020 I began my Master’s program through Pitt State and graduated in July of 2021. I taught second grade last year at Brookside Charter and joined the KCIA family this past May. I am now teaching first grade! I love to spend time with my family and friends as much as possible! I also enjoy cooking, reading, arts and crafts and shopping! I am so excited to see what this year has to offer!
