Chase Cook – Intervention and Inclusion Specialist

My name is Chase Cook, and I am an Intervention and Inclusion Specialist at Kansas City International Academy. I studied Politics at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, IL prior to joining Teach For America in 2011. I’ve spent nine of those years in Kansas City as a special education teacher + administrator and second grade teacher. I spent two years as a coach in Tulsa, OK and Houston, TX, working primarily with K-2 math teachers and bilingual elementary teachers’ across 30 schools. In my 12th year in education and second year at KCIA, I will build teachers’ skills and enhance systems that promote inclusion for all students. Outside of work, I’m a dog dad to Ari the Morkie and a proud uncle of 11 nieces/nephews. In my free time, you’ll find me listening to Ariana Grande, practicing yoga, running, or teaching spin classes.
