Hello! My name is Aurora Snodell and I am entering my 5th year here at KCIA. I started in 2018 as a Guided Reading teacher, but switched to Social Studies the following year! I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Middle School Education from UMKC and completed my Master’s last year from Park University! I am certified to teach Middle School ELA, Social Studies, and K-12 English as a Second Language. I am a member of our school’s PLC committee and love enacting change that will positively benefit our learning community. When I am not at school, you can find me spending time with my husband, our soon to be two year old daughter, and our three crazy dogs. We love trying out new local restaurants and acting like a tourist while seeing what Kansas City has to offer! Sundays are reserved for cheering on our Chiefs with our families! I am so excited for another great year as a Phoenix!
