Superintendent’s Message

Welcome to KC International Academy! At KCIA, we are committed to inspiring and empowering children from all nationalities and backgrounds, giving them the strong foundation they need to achieve success in life. Our students come from 33 countries and speak over 16 languages, creating a vibrant community where diversity is celebrated and every child belongs. Our work is guided by four guiding stars ensuring every student has an adult who never gives up on them, supporting adequate academic growth and closing achievement gaps with urgency, fostering ownership of learning inside and outside the classroom, and preparing every student to thrive in a high-performing high school.

After nearly 30 years in education, it wasn’t until I walked through the doors of KCIA that I truly felt at home. This is a school grounded in love—visible in every hallway and classroom through the powerful relationships between students and teachers. Here, we embrace the belief that our world is bigger than any one person or culture, and our students learn to navigate and appreciate that beautiful complexity every day.
