My name is Kelsey Heuer and this is my second year in education. Last year I worked as a special education para-professional in Liberty, Missouri while working on my teaching certificate in general science through the American Board of Certification for Teacher Excellence. I graduated from Truman State University in 2015 with Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology. I spent the following year in Branson, MO working and studying with Kanakuk. One summer in college, I got to live in Haiti in order to learn their language and culture as well as tutor students. My experiences abroad and with middle school students drew me to KCIA. I enjoying traveling to other cultures, coaching tennis, and being active with friends. I am excited to learn about the students and cultures that make KCIA great!
