My name is Hannah VanAusdal. This is my 15th year in public education. This is my seventh year here at KCIA. Before coming to KCIA I was a third, fourth and fifth grade teacher, an Instructional Coach and an Assistant Principal in the Kansas City area. I am married and have two sons- Teddy and Bobby. I have my bachelors degree from the Institute for Urban Education at UMKC. I have my master’s degree in Educational Administration from UMKC. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and being outdoors. I believe that school should be a joyful place for students and teachers. Kansas City International Academy is truly a special place, where students shine!
