My name is Jennifer Wilson and this is my 25th year in education. I grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and had my first teaching assignment with the KCK school district. Since then I have taught special needs preschool, first grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. I was also an Elementary Principal and a Curriculum Director before coming to my current role as Director of Student Services. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Park University in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Education Specialist degree in K-8 Leadership. I look forward to my 24th year at KCIA. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, kayaking, hiking and swimming. I also enjoy creating cross stitch designs, watercolor painting and reading.
