My name is Britany Barton, and I am the Elementary School Counselor for first, second, and third grades. This is my tenth year in education. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. I have taught various grades, with most of my time spent in third grade. I graduated from UMKC again in 2021, earning a Master of Arts degree in Counseling with an emphasis in school counseling. When I am not at KCIA, I love spending time outdoors with my husband Michael, and our dog Josie. I am looking forward to another fantastic year with our amazing staff, students, and families at Kansas City International Academy!
